This was the second time that our customer had built his own house. This time a spacious 200m2 five bedroomed chalet bungalow on a corner plot in this picturesque Essex village.

The site housed an old swimming pool which had been filled in by the previous owners. This required a significant foundation design to overcome. The Excel timber frame package was erected in two weeks in August after an 8 week design period where we worked closely with the client and his architects.
